Har Har

I'm getting spam mail from Yuffie.

This is well hilarious on its own but coupled with classics such as "There was nothing but a roster in that HR (Treasure) Chest! Ooh, this is making me so mad! >:[[[ ", it's just damned greatness.

Currently listening to: the PSP and whatever this song name is from the Church in Crisis Core. Back to my missions since I refuse to further my progress in this game any more now that that bitch Aerith has reared her stupid face. Ditz. Ugh, she makes me so mad! >:[[[
I hope she dies!!!! Oh, wait...bwahahahahaha.

Edit - Update from the last letter: "Nasty pictures! Ewww!!!! Sickos! Are Shinra employees trained to put TRASH in their treasure chests? :p That's it! Everyone in Shinra's going to get it someday!"

You show them skinny little monkey, uh...I mean, Yuffie. And you will.

A Sunday With the HOchieS

H1 always says we're recovering catholics but that doesn't stop us from hiding Easter eggs from the booboos or partaking in an "Easter" dinner. Not that Jeebus had anything to do with chocolate eggs or rabbits and fights over stuffing but well, whatever.

H1 and I baked a blasted 'Jamaican' Marble Cake (unintentionally Rastafari! See two blog entries below).

It looked pretty good until it was discovered some sort of pre-historic animal left its mark on our cake,

We decided to cover up the evidence later on so as to not alarm the other HOchieS,

(I don't know why H1 furthered the irie by icing it with irie colours. She hates me, clearly)

It was all rather mysterious but it turned out it was just a good looking chameleon:

Currently listening to: "Rose of May" by Nobuo Uematsu, from the Final Fantasy IX Soundtrack.

It's no longer an obsession.

The Japanese still hate me but I took one from their fold and that is its number.

After a bit of setbacks, selling bits of my blood (Hellsing, Niea_7, Trigun, Aqua Aqua, Graffitti Kingdom, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Samurai Legend Musashi and Ape Escape: Pumped and Primed - you all served me well, except maybe you GK. You were just ass), frozen accounts and dreading a forthcoming bill, I've a semi-functional piece of Final Fantasy VII history.

It's working completely but semi to me because we're in the US and I can't reap the benefits of Japanese TV. Or can I? Hmmm.

I got it from one of the happiest places on earth - Ebay, all wrapped up in the entertainment section of a Hong Kong newspaper:

On the back was the flyer for an appliance sale which I found to be not much of a sale and I guess others thought the same:

"Here's what I think of your sale!"

I do find it very interesting though that within 8 hours of my getting my package from Hong Kong, I got incredibly ill. Coinky Dinky? Or something else...

H1, I was only keed. Don't you dare even think it and shut your goat-assy mouth! I still have a cough!

Again With The Effy-ness

Another of our childhood memories has been ruined by Jamaicans.

Marble Cake.

Effin' marble cake!

If you put the chocolate swirl then you'd be alright like Bunji but if you like it like 1 or 2 hOchieS, you like it with pink (red) and green.

Rastafari Colours.

Obsessions for Week(s): 3/02/08 - 03/11/08

Crisis Core Limited Edition Japanese PSP Pack

The Japanese continue to hate on me. Do you see that eff? A tiny buster sword and a shoe box! A Shoe box!!!!

And of course, a beautifully designed PSP limited to 77,777 units and it features the love of my life for 10 years - Sephiroth. ::sigh:: All we get is a red PSP with Kratos. Once again, what the eff.

Vayne Solidor

I am not really obsessing over him in a good way, I'm more concerned by the state of his hair. He is my 2nd least fav. FF villain. Honestly, there was nothing cool about him and crimping your hair was so 80s. Tch.

An anime about a sociopath. So far so good.

Pari Pari, Kushya Kushya, Paki Paki, Gokkun

I've finished watching one of the greatest anime ever. More on it later but for now, enjoy a clip of greatness from Monster:

This is what I will do to H1 tomorrow after the patapon-ing.

By the way, H1, look at how cute the monster is coming down the wall.

A Warning...

If anyone Patapons me, I will Baki Baki them.

Can I even do that?

I never quite perfected or made a firm decision on his design and I'm not certain I'm happy with this either but here's a possibility for him:

Of course, his hair is being blown about by the wind. Meh.

Don't ask if I'm sure I want to name him afer a vegetable because the answer is 'yes, I'm sure'.

Hello, Spring

I'm not particularly loving the tan sides in this blog layout but I'll give it a go and see what H1 thinks when she returns from the museum with the BooHead.

Anyways, welcome to spring where butterflies frolick in the sunshine amidst flowers that don't exist in this world, ie, I don't know what kind they're supposed to be or what exactly I've drawn.

They do however, look awfully dead to me.

Next month and thereafter, April showers bring May flowers (the kind that don't exist in this world, ie, I don't know what kind they're supposed to be or what exactly I've drawn) and after that Summer, not featured in the banner.

Tch, did I mention I dislike Spring? It reminds me Summer's soon to follow and if it's one thing I hate, it's Summer.

That's Just Damned Cruel

H1 is mortified that war has been waged against the bachaks in Grenada.

Beetchie, you probably killed his lil' brudders and left a trail of teary-eyed bachaks that look a-like so:

Brudder, Ma...whatever. I don't know Bachak speak, alright?

And to think, it wasn't even a crazy red fire ant.

A Request From H1

Here you go, two wacom renditions of teary-eyed turtles.

That's right, those are turtles.

P.S. Sorry Bughie J. for traumatizing you. Blame H1.

Oh, For Eff's Sake

Eff is not the word I wish to use.

For fuck's sake, people - you cannot be Gaara!

Teenager's Video with Naruto Quote Leads to Arrest

YouTube clip quoting Naruto's Gaara raises charges of threatening, breach of peace

Connecticut State Police arrested an 18-year-old on Sunday after he uploaded a clip to the YouTube video-sharing service that allegedly threatened the students of his former school and used a quote from the Naruto manga and anime character Gaara. The suspect, Brandon A. Brown of New London, Connecticut, had been expelled from Grasso Southeastern Technical High School last June. The allegedly threatening video contained a variation on Gaara's trademark line ("The Corpse's Crimson Bitter Tears Will Flow And Mingle Though [sic] The Endless Sand Feeding The Chaos In Me And Making Me Stonger [sic]") and a warning to Grasso students to "Beware All Those Who Cross My Path […] On March 19, 2008 THE END IS HERE.” The video was included in a user channel with two earlier, unrelated Gaara video clips.

After the allegedly threatening video was posted on February 27, another student's parent saw it and complained to police. Brown was then arrested on charges of threatening and breach of peace. He has been released on US$2,500 bail. In response to the situation, Grasso principal Kerry Bell wrote a letter to parents that described the incident.

Today there was yet another Gaara related incident in the news - some 10 year olds felt they could bury their friend in the sandbox because they could do sand manipulation.
You know, there's a reason why it's called "desert coffin". Yeesh.

And so the backlash of Naruto and all anime shall begin, much like the attack on video games.

It was very unfortunate what happened but don't blame Gaara for shit.

No H1, Gaara should not be banned. You'd be banning yourself.

Thanks for ruining things for the rest of us, people. Thanks.

Food - The "Weirdness" From the Past and Present

Well, I do eat a lot of 'strange' (strange to some, not to others) food sometimes. I fancy trying different things at times but that's not to say I'm totally adventurous either. There are a few things I don't think I could eat if ever put before me.

For instance, I don't think I could ever eat the abdomen of a tarantula. Cambodian delicacy or not, you fry most anything and it'll be good but when there's a possibility that I could bite in and feel squishy, I don't even want to think further on the matter.

Disappointed, yeah? I am too, honestly.

Anyway, I realized recently that I never posted a picture way back when of my "officially done with the speciality kenka menu" meal. So, for those trying to rack their brains of what that was because you've for some crazy reason blocked it from memory, here it is,

Yeah, the guy laughed at me a little too and gave me a wink when he brought the bull penis to the table just as you awfully judgmental souls are.

A Little Piece of Me

I feel somehow betrayed and a little disappointed.

According to wikipedia, Little Jimmy Urine got married in January.

To a girl.

Not a cute girl either, or a particularly talented one.

She's 26, the lead singer of Morningwood and I know I've heard a song by them before and my ears felt insulted by it.

It's okay though, I'm sure this will be much fodder if true, for banter at future MSI concerts.

Still, married?! That alone is well horrible for him.

A little piece of me has died this morning.

Let me go depress myself further by watching Monster. Dr. Tenma, don't you betray me too...

The Fish In Dragon Land

When we were in Chinatown last, we visited the Dragon Land bakery we often frequent when we're there and in it there's this tank - it's a rather not so giant tank with some rather giant fish in it. It's sort of cruel but I'm always fascinated by how many and what type of fish they're rockin'.

I remember one year they had tons of fish and within months, they were down to about 3.
Well, they've been down to 3 for the past 2 years or so, I'd say - a pike looking thing, another one that isn't as interesting and this huge thing that mills around. I forget what sort of fish he is.

The other thing I loved about this store, other than the steamed plain vanilla cakes, coconut bubble tea and the custard buns with the crumblies that H1 despises, were the tables.

Cruel once more, the owners of the store decided to create tables out of turtle tanks. So you could eat your pork filled snack while looking down at a turtle. I'd be sad if some asshole tried to dangle pork over my head knowing fully well I would never be able to taste the goodness.

I suppose it was cruel to have huge turtles in a small tank that was completely sealed as well because they also disappeared a few months after their debut and I've never seen them since.

I meant to do this to show Chloe but next time I'll remember to take a picture of my favourite tank and a table that now houses some mossy rocks and stagnant water. The kind of water mosquitos could breed in.

Currently listening to: "Fancy Mel" by Junya Nakano, from the Dew Prism Soundtrack and "Turn The Tables" by Shiro Sagisu, from the Bleach: Memories of Nobody Soundtrack. That song is epic! After hearing it used in episode 163 during the Renji/Ishida exchange, I've been obsessed with it and crying that they've not yet released or announced the third series soundtrack. I've been fiending for that thing for close to a year now!

Chinatown on a Rainy Wednesday

The gaggle (H1, Alex, X, M, and Or 2) went down for dim sum today in good ol' Chinatown. Beetchie was sorely missed and this isn't a post to make her sad. That objective was supposed to be fulfilled in the post prior to this one.

It was dreary, the subway was effed as per usual and a trip to the Brooklyn Bridge just ruined my post earlier this morning when I said I can't go there without Beetchie.

Apparently I cursed us.

Dim sum was rushed and the HOchieS left feeling a little bit unhappy about the whole deal (Trudging to work knowing you'll be staying until 7.20 at night is also no fun but alas, it had to be done).

For the first time ever, the HOchieS feasted upon something we've eaten quite regularly as children but never at dim sum because we always feel that the space that item would take up could be filled by other things we don't get on a regular basis.

What is this "thing" you ask?

That's right, it was none other than good time chicken feet. Due to the fact that our gang was not asian looking, we were discriminated against and fed the 'sauced' up version as opposed to the boiled goodness we're used to. I guess they figured they were doing us a kindness or figured we would waste their precious fatty legs and toes.

It was quite good though, regardless.

The usual suspects were inhaled, with some hilarity over noodles that could not not be eaten before leaving Golden Bridge.

After our particularly cheap eats of $33.00, a price that impressed H1 immensely, we hustled (but not really) down the street to buy some baos and pastries and hop on the train.

It was at this point I saw my favourite friend in the entire world, in all his hammy glory.

It was a rather depressing sight. I did not get the picture that made me a little bit revolted and I regret not getting the shot of the pig being hauled around the streets of Chinatown on a man's shoulder.
Camera Eye got it, but not L.O.

A Present For Beetchie

It's funny that you mentioned it but we were waiting for the release of FF:CC at the end of March and for your birthday but because you foiled your present, you get it early,

It's a song, just for you. If you click it...Hear that? It's the sound of love.
If you choose not to, then that's okay. That's probably the same thing Cloud heard after she hit the ground, face first.
That and Sephy's laughing.

And mine.

Happy Early Birthday!

We miss you too.

I Am In So Much Trouble

H1, don't kill me, okay?

The Last Shadow Puppets - Live In Brooklyn

Alex Turner & Miles Kane are in New York promoting their forthcoming debut album as The Last Shadow Puppets. A very special acoustic performance has been added to their schedule as a treat for NY area fans!

When: Tomorrow, Tuesday March 4, at approx. 10 PM. Doors @ 9:45, please try not to show up before then. A line will start outside before the doors open.
Where: Soundfix Records, 110 Bedford Ave, Brooklyn, NY (Bedford & N. 11th) - Bedford L-train stop / Williamsburg, Brooklyn
How: Just show up, it's free. All ages, no tickets required.
Please do NOT call Sound Fix for details.

Heh. Heh. I got that notice yesterday but didn't realize until this morning. Apparently only 100 people showed up and Alex and Kane took pics with everyone and hung out for a bit.

My 2nd husband avoids me again.

I remain poor. And now, poor with forthcoming bruises.

Also, on a side note, I fear all the smaller acts that I want to see in concert will take their gigs to Brooklyn. Everyone's all over that place these days. I can't set foot there unless Beetchie's with me, though perhaps I should mull over what I said... I did almost die there the last time when we were together.

One Step Closer to Trolldom

Amy Winehouse Diagnosed with Skin Disease
Originally posted Monday March 03, 2008 07:30 AM EST

What's up with those bumps on Amy Winehouse's face? The singer has been diagnosed with impetigo, her spokesman confirms to PEOPLE.

It's a bacterial skin infection that causes pimple-like lumps – and is "is highly contagious, and scratching or touching the sores is likely to spread the infection to other parts of the body as well as to other people," according to the Mayo Clinic's Web site.

And yes, Winehouse, 24, had been prescribed drugs ... in the form of antibiotics.

As for how the singer's feeling, "She's fine," a pal tells PEOPLE. "She's not hiding away. She's never been one to care what people think."

So now we know if she turns black, let's's the skin disease right?
Alright, Amy Jackson.

Re-living the Good Times

I love Sephiroth.

Look at that beauty.

Here's an even better shot,

Ahahahaha, kill that bitch!

So, I don't think I ever put forth my Aerith Proclamation on here.
I've been spewing this for years but my reason that Aerith is a stupid bitch is as follows:

She never truly loved Cloud.

Remember when she first met him? One of the first things she said to him was, "You remind me of him". That ass loved Zack and not our sad little reject clone Cloud.
She used that spikey-headed ass.

We should all love Yuffie.

She was never needy, pitiful or pretended to be something she wasn't.
She wanted materia and who could hate a ninja for stealing?! That's like saying you hate babies for sharting!

They all have good reasons for doing what they do!

Effin' Eff Moments of Today

Who uses that word anymore? H1 has declared that word shart. Sons, pay attention.

Trent Reznor.

Trent has managed to piss me off twice in a span of less than 5 months.

Today he announced the release of the new album in four available editions.

You can preview 9 of the 36 tracks for free online. Secondly, you can download a copy for $5.00. For $10.00 you can buy a cd set. For $75 dollars, you can buy a deluxe edition that has a hardcover art book dealie and finally, for $300 you get what you'd get for $75.00 plus the album on Vinyl. And a signature by the man himself, in addition to a number of this limited edition product of 2500 copies produced.

If you're keeping track like I am, essentially I'd be paying about $100+ for a signature.

Trent, what the eff?! Why don't I just buy a $75.00 copy then hunt you down and have you sign it for me, making my copy 2501?

I'm so pissed, I may even just go ahead and get that $10.00 edition. I'm going to preview the 9 to decide.

I feel like I got tons from Radiohead and for them, I paid 80 dollars.

Back in the day, just as Bughie J. pointed out, Trent could have gotten blood out of me.

Now my blood is reserved for Matt, which thinking about it now... puts him at $1845.78 from me last year alone.

I have an effin' problem.

Raphael may have turned out a little too beautiful... not that he isn't good looking. I guess this fits his personality anyway.

In 21 Days

It'll be the first day of Spring. I am not that thrilled because Spring comes, quickly followed by Summer and I hate me a Summer.

Anyway, that's not why I'm posting. I drew Raguel with the WACOM and it's not good at all. It is in fact, a little bit creepy even for me yet endearing in that skeletal sort of way but he really is more beautiful than this. I will have to redraw him sometime because I don't draw him as much as I should to get practice because SOMEBODY hates to look upon him.

Why would anyone not want to look at a guy who has mastered the Internet in his eye sockets?
