The Return of the Claw and More at Gleason's

I'm not sure why it took me this long to go to Gleason's.  Maybe it's due to the fact that I don't really like pizza even if the ones made at Gleason's are specialty flat bread pizzas and high class.  Or maybe it's due to the fact because the pizzas are specialty it makes me think that this place would be plagued by hipsters.

On Tuesday, X and Moodou paid us a visit and we decided to go on a foodie adventure for old time's sake.  You know, that's what we do when X comes around.  It's what we're supposed to do! Never mind we have yet to take her for Tea at Kathleen's Tea Room.  X, don't worry about it.  You saw nothing and you remember nothing about that.

I don't understand how it is you're one year old and already driving all over the place like nobody's buisness.

What the heck can I expect by this time next year?

An Arrival

Dear Moodou,

No Seer Man was going to tell you otherwise, and I know that you intentionally came around later than you were "predicted" to make an entrance.

That's right, you are here and have been since July 17th.

I saw you on the 18th and already there's a story to tell which I will relay on the BooHead Hi Jinks blog.

For now, welcome to life in the outside world, Moodou! There's lots to see and do here.  There are places to go, things to read and learn, music to listen to and good food to eat.

However, please be aware that taking bacon out of my mouth and eating Momma HOchie's stuffing at Thanksgiving are not things that you need to do.

Party on, Duck

Moodou had a party thrown in his honour last Saturday, and was presented with pyos of all the things he will need when he makes an appearance.

Even at a baby's shower, there is always that one fool who does not know how to act right.

 It's a wholesome affair for now...

Pink umbrellas, baby bottles, baby games.

A rocking horse, blue umbrellas, more games.

Broccoli and cheddar cheese quiche

with a beautiful side salad and veggies.

And then, 1 glass of wine later...

A duck brings out some chicks.

Like I said, no behaviour.

Dinner with X and Moodou

X, Moodou and I went to Cafe Zaiya for dinner yesterday.

I think I may be on a mission to try everything in that place before finally being able to move on with my life.

In any event, we met up for some dinner and ice-cream and ended up buying most of the store.

We both went with the Tempura Udon which was quite good.
