It was rather disappointing but Trinidad and the Caribbean were not on the list, which means we can contribute to the article! I may be displaced but I do remember Christmas. It was my favourite time of year followed by Divali, Eid and Easter...sniff..., I miss the goo'd times.
Our rummaging through the eats of various countries led to other articles, one being the yule log.
As I was reading up on said yule log, (and let me digress for a moment, I find the concept of a televised yule log an utterly ridiculous 'tradition' but I suppose some find the constant repetition of A Christmas Story for 24 hours utterly ridiculous, and to them I say, "pox on you"), I came across this horrid thing:
