What? I missed wishing all good luck yesterday when it was the 1st day of the month?! Hey, it's the first day of the month some where in the world, right?  RIGHT?!

Well, I wished it in my heart for everyone yesterday.  I just did not make a grand announcement.

A new year, people.  Last year was not without its crummy times but we are thankful for the good times we had as well.  And we're thankful for the lot of you all and look forward to spending time again in 2013.

Even though there are now only 22 days until the Zombie Apocalypse, I am still intent on wishing all of my frenemies some good luck because now it's just about wishing you to become zombies instead of zombie food.

What the What.

My camera has finally returned to me and I couldn't be more excited.

And what sort of craziness do I get to take (awful) pictures of on it's first foray back into the world?

Yep, snow. 

I could not stay out there to take any sort of interesting pictures because it's pretty dangerous out there with the wind kicking up.

However, I just wanted to show you the shitnanigans regarding the snow, as H1 would probably want me to point out.

After the Hurricane last week and the Nor'Easter we're currently embroiled in, it's only serving to make me that much more convinced that the Zombie Apocalypse is soon headed our way.

Seriously though, this storm is a tragedy on top of all the hell many others faced last week and are still facing.

I did not get a chance to wish my good luck chant at the beginning of November but I'll wish it now for everyone.

November....please stop this ridiculous behaviour.

I have no Old Year's pictures of the drunken times The Cheat, Diderick and Gnomey-Gnome had because it may be that they had no drunken times at the house.  I know, tragic but have no fear.  The guys went to a pub last night and I have not yet seen them for the year.  They heard that there was no hard alcohol at The HOchieS last night and promptly gave me the finger.

We're saying goodbye to H1's Birthday month.  It was hectic and insane but there was lots of fun had.

September is here.

August just had to hold on to ugliest month of the year title because you know, after the hellish hot July, I almost decided to award July the worst month of all months award.

But August just goes ahead and shows that it is an asshat of a month.  First there was an earthquake and then a freaking Hurricane affecting NY.

We are thankful that all we had to contend with was a flooded basement and a restless night anticipating tornadoes, but to all those still without power, or lost their houses - we truly feel for you.

Here's hoping for a better month.

It's no secret that I dislike August.  It's usually my least favourite month.  It's long, it's Summer trying to hold on, there are no vacations and life just moves slow.

I am realizing now though that I can start hating July on account of the hot weather.

So with a hopeful mind, I wish everyone good luck for August.  This July was not the best and while things can always be worse, I can still say it sucked, can't I? Considering I posted well wishes on the 2nd, you may think I am to blame...heh.  heh.  

Let us not make that same mistake again.
