Avatar

Just last week, Beetchie and I were discussing that we may be nerds on some level but at least we do not have avatars.

Thanks to her, I've had that accursed "Do You Wanna Date My Avatar" song stuck in my head.

And now, I take one step close to complete nerdom.

Kind of.

I do not really consider this a serious avatar and I suppose it does not really make me much nerdier than say...building Rock Band characters, however, I created a Square Enix avatar.

So I have a red coif and wield a purple sword...what's it to you?



I also have red devil eyes. Perhaps a throw back to 3 weeks ago from my bout of conjunctivitis? Ew! Or maybe a tribute to Beetchie Gourami? Or maybe they're just evil devil eyes.



I seem like a "turn around" kind of person. Like..."what's that noise?! ::head turn:: always watching my back, I am except on rare occasions that involve stampeding elephants. That's very Square Enix of me, I feel.



Though, I did really enjoy the "sleeping" character mode.



And the surprised look at being caught.



H1, please notice that although not true, I placed my avatar in a cave since you are always talking about how I'm constantly in a dungeon. I do not know of what you speak - this dungeon crawling.

More Sad What The Eff Times

First xxxHolic, which by the way H1 and I watched the last animated episode of and it was really sad but 'ended' in a sweet way, which... is bullshart because it's CLAMP and I know that effin' manga won't end with anything but grief if they stay true to their asshattery! Oh Watanuki, I hope you'll be okay. ::sniff:: I love that kid.

Second, why didn't I know Avatar: The Last Air Bender ended? WHY?! Why did it end?! What about 'Avatar Family Fun Night with the Hochies'?! This is too much for us. What's H1 supposed to do without Appappa? (It's Appa, H1)

Currently listening to: "Hyakkyagyou" by S.E.N.S. Project, from the xxxHOlic Original TV Series Soundtrack. This damned song was played at the end right after "April Fool" and I wanted to cry! I guess I must like punishment from CLAMP.

TV: Sometimes Makes You Puke

Or should I say, KFed: Always Makes You Puke.

Ah, I'm being overly dramatic much like KFed in his 'star' filled appearance on last night's episode of CSI.
It's bad enough that he was on my beloved television (you know, tv the master of bountiful knowledge and/or endless time-wasting goodness) but when KFed's role involved kicking the crap out of my 4th husband Greg Sanders, then that just equates to a bucket full of yuck next to the bed.

The classic line for the evening on CSI came from non-other than KFed and he said it so proudly too, "You're. A Joke". Yes. It was delivered exactly like that.
Little did Fedass know that the writers at CSI wrote that line in reverse sarcasm. I know, I'm creating stupid phrases again but deal. The point is, jokes on you KFed. The joke was on you.

I thoroughly enjoyed that they made KFed put on that horrendous face altering mask. I mean, it's not as though he needed a hideous mask but I suppose it was to drive a point home.

And when Nick stole Fed's Treo after punching him in the stomach, I have to say that was the best acting I've seen ever. There was real conviction in that scene. I imagine that's how Beetchie would look if I stole hers. I should try it sometime with the punch included because I'm all about adding insult to injury.

While I'm on the subject of TV, not only does it have the power to upset my innards but it also breaks my heart. WTF was up with tonight's episode of "Avatar"? It's been over a month now that they've dragged this damned Appa being stolen story. We finally got to see what happened to Appa during his absence and let me tell you, it was quite disturbing. I don't understand why they'd make it so sad to give me a complex. Forget the children having to go into therapy now because of that episode but damn, that whole thing was cold.

Fridays in the HOchie Household have been designated "Family Fun Night" and we all sit around the living room at 8 PM watching Avatar. You know it's bad when Pappa HOchie stresses about whether or not he'll be home in time.
