Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door

So it's been a long time since this game came out. Eventually I get to them if I can find copies! H1 and I have alawys wanted to play this series and I'm happy that I picked it up. It's cute, pretty hilarious and Luigi, even though he's not in the main game really, he's there and getting some major props. "Moustache...hat...! I know you! You're the hero!!! Luigi!" That's right, bitches. Best line in the game so far (especially since it was said to Mario).

Drawing

Watching Bakemonogatari made me want to draw again. I've had the feeling for a while now, actually but the style was so indie and an oddity in itself like the oddities the anime featured, that I had to do some sketching. His head might be big, but damn that Raphael is becoming one cool, scary creation

M@WS 2010

Another 4:00 a.m. stint and hopefully some tickets secured. The countdown begins!!!!!!!!!

(And yes, tickets are mine - trip to the U.K. and Ireland? Hooray!)

Should Be Sleeping

I would have gone to bed a long time ago but effin' blogger just lost my entire post from last night and I had to rewrite that shart!

..sigh.. I'll have to edit. Lame.

In the meanwhile, I 'finished' a drawing I've been working on.

Pencil, paper, frustration, pondering and proscrastination -

Currently listening to: "Chocolate Salty Balls (P.S. I Love You)" by Chef, from Chef Aid: The South Park Album.

It Needs To Be Cleaned Up

No wacom, pencil drawing by hand (with smudges and all!) of the group:

From left to right (because sometimes I forget their names...embarassing, isn't it?): Raguel, Zarnyx, October, Kale, Raphael, Sariel

Currently listening to: "Earth" by Susumu Hirasawa, from the Berserk TV Series Original Soundtrack

Huh

Raphael may have turned out a little too beautiful... not that he isn't good looking. I guess this fits his personality anyway.

Two Wacom 'sketchings' here, first with glasses and this is how I've always drawn him, with circular specs:

The second is how he looks before he puts on the glasses (I always assumed they were glued to his face but what do I know?):

Currently listening to: "The Extreme" by Nobuo Uematsu, from the Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack. I still curse the day that this game was made and still curse the fact that the music is the only great thing about it other than Zell.

Which reminds me, maybe I should go hunt down more marks in FFXII. Gilgamesh, here I come. For you to hand my ass to me.
