Partial Howdy Spring!
Petal-shaped ripples resonate along the surface where one falls, sending forth shivers of flowery communication we will never understand, stretching thousands of miles and beyond in the world of the tiny flower to others just like him.
An odd creature swims just below the dancing waves, casting a shadow that leaves one pondering if there's new life of a new species in the pond of blue or just a giant fish devouring a creepy crawly.

Wii Fit? More Like, Wii Fat
At $399.00, the Japanese have reaffirmed that they hate us and wish for us stoopid Americans to die because we are poor and can't afford to be 'fit'.
We're in a recession for eff's sake!
Edit 4/25/08: Clearly, Amazon like to keed because they switched the price. It's $90.00 and has been pre-ordered.
In other gaming news, does anyone have not so fond memories of those weed thingies in Final Fantasy VII? They'd show up in a field on the outskirts of Midgar, sometimes hang out with Chocobos I think, right when you left Midgar for the first time.
I have discovered they are my most hated enemies in Crisis Core. While I often wish they would look like this:
Or even this,
Sadly, this is what they really look like to Zack and by extension, me:
And while that may not be terribly horrendous to those of you who don't understand, I can assure you...they really are the stuff of nightmares. Curse you too, Hysteric Voices!
Finally to end this nerd rant, where are all the effin' fat chocobo feathers when you need them?
Memorable conversations of the past 2 days:
Raisins Alex: This new Pope isn't very "grandfather-ish" like the previous Pope.
Or 2: But at least he's smart. He's refusing a dinner with Bush.
Raisins Alex: Yeah, he knows nothing can absolve that man's sins. 'Gel oulla here, Boosh!!'
Or 2: Notice how the Pope isn't having a mass in Crooklyn?
H1: No one wants to go there.
Or 2: Yeah, but people in Crooklyn probably need the most blessings. Also, he's not going to NJ. As scary as this Pope looks, he really is clever.
H1: Yep, no one wants to go New Jersey either. Even the Pope knows.
Or 2: Yeah, if only bands would realise this too.
Or 2: Mountain Time exists! ::searches wiki:: There. You don’t believe Wiki?! There it is!
H1: I still don't understand it. What places in the world use mountain time? Arizona, it says. They also do not observe daylight savings, but the Hopi Nation within Arizona does, but the Navajo Nation within the Hopi Nation does.
Or 2: They all like to keed!
Currently listening to: "A Punch-Up at a Wedding" by Radiohead and one of my favourite songs ever (I love you Watanuki!! you to a lesser extent, Yuko's Watanuki. heh heh.) "April Fool" by S.E.N.S. Project, from the xxxHOLiC Original TV Soundtrack.

More Zarnyx?
Sketched/Wacom'ed really quickly, and uncaring like. I'm in that kind of mood. Tired and Meh.
He still came out to my liking.
That's the kind of pretty and scary ass he is, even if it doesn't quite look like him. But the personality is oozing Zarnyx.

Kale
Of course, his hair is being blown about by the wind. Meh.
Don't ask if I'm sure I want to name him afer a vegetable because the answer is 'yes, I'm sure'.
Currently listening to: "Crane/White Lightning" by The RZA/Charles Bernstein, from the Kill Bill Soundtrack and "Heat Island" by Rhymester feat. Fireball, from the Ayakashi Original Soundtrack. It's embarrassing but I never thought I'd like a Japanese 'rap'. Ha.
Hello, Spring
Anyways, welcome to spring where butterflies frolick in the sunshine amidst flowers that don't exist in this world, ie, I don't know what kind they're supposed to be or what exactly I've drawn.
They do however, look awfully dead to me.
Next month and thereafter, April showers bring May flowers (the kind that don't exist in this world, ie, I don't know what kind they're supposed to be or what exactly I've drawn) and after that Summer, not featured in the banner.
Tch, did I mention I dislike Spring? It reminds me Summer's soon to follow and if it's one thing I hate, it's Summer.
Currently listening to: "This Magic Moment" by Lou Reed, from the Lost Highway Soundtrack and "Leaving So Soon?" by Keane.
P.S. I mentioned pagwa before and maybe this is a tribute albeit an early one. I am a tad bit early, right?

That's Just Damned Cruel
Beetchie, you probably killed his lil' brudders and left a trail of teary-eyed bachaks that look a-like so:
Brudder, Ma...whatever. I don't know Bachak speak, alright?
And to think, it wasn't even a crazy red fire ant.

A Request From H1

That's right, those are turtles.
Goo'day!
P.S. Sorry Bughie J. for traumatizing you. Blame H1.

Only 2 More To Go

I'm well aware that all it is is some blown up hair. Oye, that's how you know the betch is serious.
She too is looking a little too sexy for her own good... I'm not terribly happy with the way she turned out, actually. I'm not just talking about her very round boob either.
Currently listening to: "Parting of the Sensory" by Modest Mouse. This is an album I have to listen to in its entirety. I've been overwhelmed by the amount of things I have! and "Warp Room" by Andy Blythe and Martin Joustra, from the Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex Sdtk.

Huh
Two Wacom 'sketchings' here, first with glasses and this is how I've always drawn him, with circular specs:
The second is how he looks before he puts on the glasses (I always assumed they were glued to his face but what do I know?):
Currently listening to: "The Extreme" by Nobuo Uematsu, from the Final Fantasy VIII soundtrack. I still curse the day that this game was made and still curse the fact that the music is the only great thing about it other than Zell.
Which reminds me, maybe I should go hunt down more marks in FFXII. Gilgamesh, here I come. For you to hand my ass to me.
In 21 Days
Bleck.
Anyway, that's not why I'm posting. I drew Raguel with the WACOM and it's not good at all. It is in fact, a little bit creepy even for me yet endearing in that skeletal sort of way but he really is more beautiful than this. I will have to redraw him sometime because I don't draw him as much as I should to get practice because SOMEBODY hates to look upon him.
Why would anyone not want to look at a guy who has mastered the Internet in his eye sockets?

Wacoming Again
This isn't any of my characters but I was trying a different pencil style in Corel.
He looks pretty cool though...maybe I should find a place for him some where or give someone a well needed revamp.
Currently listening to: "B.G." by Tsuneo Imahori, from the Gun Grave Soundtrack; and "The Apartment" by John Powell, the Bourne Identity Soundtrack.
Oh yeah, and before I forget - what was that plant Daniel Day Lewis' wife was wearing for a dress? A hibiscus, right?

Wacoming Quickly
I just spent about 2 hours just doodling and erasing.
I prefer to call it practice than failure but who am I kidding?
Finally I said eff this and did a really quick thing and discovered the power of the paint bucket. Ah, filling with paint is goo'd times.
I love my retarded Dragon. Heehee.

You know what I love...

...the blending tool in Corel Painter. Can you see the blending? Can you? Oooooo...not so shiny...oooo.
I also love the Wacom - it's gOOd times. I hope I get more time in today to Wacom.
I love rainy days (except when the basement gets flooded).
Wacom + Rainy Days = awesome times.
I'll be adding more to this drawing in the next few weeks. My goal is to have a complete piece before Christmas. I have plans.

A gross misuse of Intuos3

On to the wacom mentioned earlier - it's taking time for me to get used to it but up there is first 'recognizable' thing created on 10/12/05. It's Zarnyx! Awww, boo boo Zarnyx. So evil. He's a character from my Fauxanga. It's not a manga, it's a Fauxanga. Zarnyx is one of many that inhabit the world of "October" (yes, it's also called 'October' because I couldn't think of a better name at the time and that just kind of stuck for the past 3 or so years) but he's my favourite character. And not because he threatens my life if I say otherwise. That has nothing to do with anything...heh heh.
Music currently playing: "I'm Your Villain" by Franz Ferdinand.
(That just reminds me that I won't be on the 'dance floor/mosh pit' tomorrow at their concert. Damn it!)
