Anarchist My Ass

X sent me a prezzie.  I was informed it was Rotten.

Upon Rotten's arrival to his new home, I found him to be hilarious.

Peeking out from his box, I could tell Rotten had personality.

"Confound it!" he screamed.  I assumed he was confounding his plastic prison.
I released him and found that well, he had no confounding face.  Or any face for that matter.
So I set out to personalize him...in the face.
Rotten wears his sunglasses at night (so he can see, of course).  He's got a bad-assed koi for a devil eye-brow.  His nose is pierced with a rather unsafe safety pin.
He cages devil fish in his Hannibal mouth.
A skull with wings has been tattooed to his side.  He spent 9 seconds in the chair for that.  A lot of work that.  "And a lot of pain", he wanted you to know.
He continues, "and even more pain in the ass to have this one done."  Why...thank you for the insight, Rotten.  I guess?
He's even got a "I love Mom" tattoo under his foot! You can't see that here but all in all, he's one bad mother-chucker.
H1 put in the plug to get this mosh pit started.  Rotten reacts to music he hears.  You put on a song and his face goes wild for it.  Here he is mouth open small.

Here he is, mouth open wide.  He's really getting into this...
This...this...thi.. LADY GAGA song?!?!?!
Rotten loves Lady Gaga.  Right after that song ended, I discovered he loved the Justin Timberlake song that played.

He doesn't really care for Mindless Self Indulgence.

And Marilyn Manson? He thinks it's okay but he can take it or leave as per his unenthusiastic facial expressions.

....

.......

Meet Rotten Ana.
Ana had his cool name rights revoked due to his less than anarchist ways.

And do you want to know what I think of Ana?

Me thinks that Anacanchistmyass.

Sissons in Every Room?

How is it possible that today is already the 22nd day of the 10th month of year?

Christmas will soon be upon us! And I haven't shopped yet! Well...I guess that's not completely true.

It's time for a list which I will hide...just like last year!

H1's Birthday Loot

One day, I'll need to reflect on the loot she got to remember what not to get her.  And this is why I post!

From X, Mk & Moodou.
How very pink of them!

From Sons.  A friendship ring.  Awww.
Really though, any frenemie rings for sale?

Black and white diamonds butterflee pendant,
from Luuuiiiissss and BH.

The Birthday Box.  A new tradition I started this year.  If it fits in the box, you can get it as a present.  I'm thinking when my birthday comes around...wow, that's a whole lot of DS and PS3 games that could fit in there.  Woohoo!

From Or 2:

Green tea and something something Japanese bath salts.

More Japanese bath salts.  I think.

What the...?!

My eyes! My EEEYYYEESSS! But..those paws are pretty damned cute.

Ummm.

Not one, but FOUR Nyanko-Sensei plushies.
Except, one is black.  Kuroneko-Sama? Nyaw.

Ah, Matt Smith.  I heart you and your 11th Doctor Self.
Great shirt from a Tee Fury artist.  Why, it's even got Tardis on it.
That's the sign of something cool.  Bow Ties are cool.

And of course the thing most deadly and fantastic, a Dalek.

It's even got Menacing Dalek Motion.
Now that's terrifyingly awesome.

And this, from Bunji.  Best present of the day? Cold Hard Cash.

Happy Birthday Month, H1! Sorry I did not get you your Ipod Touch like I wanted to, mostly due to the fact that I tire of not being able to put songs on your Nano.  I may have done you an unkindess the first time around.

Exterminate?

That Frien' of Mine

Last Christmas, Gen' Frien' put together a very thoughtful lucky bag for me.  It was the cutest thing - full of candy, drawing supplies and a bento.

Today, I received another package of greatness.

Look at the piggyh cups! Ah, she knows me so well.

"Mystery" candy? Intriguing! I wonder what awaits inside...
will open it this weekend.

Thank you for all my accessories to a better bento box builder!

A thank you is in order for forcing me to start making them too.

I sadly did not get to photograph them but the t-shirts you sent for the kids are INCREDIBLE.  I will take pictures soon.

The kids will model and get the work out there.  Indeed.

Sitting at the bottom of my box was the coolest bit of promotional material from one of my favourite bands, from their very first album.

And for this, I thank you,
Gen' Frien' for feeding my obsessions.  Heh.

Update on 4/15/2010:
Okay, Gen'? Meltyblend are greatness! I don't know why that's the first time I've had them...
And the gummie were awesome.  I have to hide the rest from Bunji so that H1 may get some upon her return from her mini-vacation.

Blog-away VIII: Beetchie and Godzilla invade Tokyo

  • Winner: X's "Damn this stupid human exhibit! I can't find this freaky lookin' thing in my program!" (not by default, X.  That was pretty good).

Blog-away VIII

This is the final in The HOchieS' "Caption this Picture" competition.
Beetchie, I didn't realise I had a picture of myself with the shark 'hat' you forced upon my head back at the Tokyo Sea Life Park gift shop. Had I known, I would not have posted you at all.

As it turns out, you get to be featured twice and this time, it's ALL YOU.

Well, maybe a special friend too.

Blog-away VI

A new day, a new picture!

Truthfully, I am running a little low on the pictures of 'new' people here (ie. people who have not already been used for a photo op in this competition).

Just to show you people that The HOchieS are a fair lot, have at this next entry:

Blog-away V

As if you could not guess, H1 and I have decided to post the winners list after the Competition is over.

Also, TD5 if you're reading this, I know you're in Carnival mode and all but you're keeling us here with your lack of comments.

Now for the next round!

Can I just say that I have a plethora of pics of MC that I could use but this is one none of you may have seen...

Blog-away IV

The fourth in our "Caption this Picture" competition is one you all may need some time to ponder over.

Blog-away III

X is away on business and informs us that she can access all websites except this one.  She won't be able to see this until Saturday when she returns, so I suggest we all get our punches in before then.

Blog-away II

Hello Frenemies!

I have a bit of an update on the Round I activities.

So far, I thank those of you who have commented - they're all really fabulous and have H1 and I rolling around with laughter.

There are '4' more people left to comment but Gen'Frien' informed me that she's not really funny and I informed her that that's due to the fact that she's not a hateful biatch like the rest of us.
Then I was told by X today that after Beetchie's comment, she was not sure she could compete this round.

Being the clever bunch that you are, I logged in this evening to find two more great ones and now H1 and I are having a difficult time choosing a winner of that lot and goodness knows what's going to happen when Frass and MC have a crack at it...IF they have a crack at it.

It's Day II of the Blog-away but I am having a hard time choosing the next photo for one particular reason.

As you all know, The HOchieS are not really fans of putting ourselves or our friends out there on the internet in pictures.  However, some of the photos are just nothing without the expression on your faces.  I can draw bao heads to capture the moment but my drawings are terrible and more than likely will not do most of those things justice.

So, I have a proposal.

I am going to post the original pictures behind a cut.  If you want your pic. removed immediately just let me know and I will do so and I'll e-mail the pic. to the group instead.

Please know too that I will never keep the picture in its original form forever on the blog and will alter it at some point soon after your entries are in.

That said, click the link to see Round II's Caption This Picture Contest (and I'm posting it a bit earlier before everyone has commented on the last because X will be on a business trip for the next week and wanted a shot in this Round).

My apologies to CLee in advance...

Blog-away I

Wouldn't you know it?

This right here is the 1000th 1 or 2 HOchieS blog post.

To celebrate this day of millions of characters typed, 999 + stories told and memories shared with all of you frenemies...H1 and I have decided to do a little Giveaway.

Think of it as pyos to you for pyos to us - for all your hilarious comments to the snarky ones or to the times you glossed over (mostly my) ramblings.

Of course, we racked our brain to come up with some sort of blog-centric quiz because why would we just give you guys things without making it interesting?

Now, I can't say my solution is interesting but it'll be as fun as you guys make it.

For 8 future blog posts with this one included, I borrowed a little daily exercise from one of our favourite bloggers.  Ours may not be as gross as his but we're going to present to you a picture in a "Caption This Picture Contest".

I'll post a picture and in the comments section leave your caption to match.

The funniest one as voted by H1 and I will get a prize!

Of course, since we love all 8 of our trusted frenemies who participate actively on here (I luz you others too, I do!), we have decided to do 8 blogs of giveaways.

The person who wins day 1, is free to enter a comment on any other day if so compelled but even though you may have a killer caption again - we'll pick the 2nd best to win on day 2 and so on and so forth until each person gets a prize.  Makes sense?

Okay... let's begin!

DAY 1: Caption this Picture

Check

I do not know when this happened but blogger updated tools and just because I can, I'm going to use the strikethrough key! Pointless? Probably but it gives me a running list of everthing I should be doing.

Oo, oo, and I'm also going to use the "read the rest of this entry" feature to.

I'm such a nerd...

Who Loves Me?

Who wants to buy me the Ultimate Sephiroth pyo?

Or at least put in half, making my total $75 and you, whoever you may be, your total $75?

Or something? (Making my total $0 and you, whoever you may be, your total $150?)

If I get this, I will never buy/coerce or consider getting another Sephiroth figure again!

Really though, you guys should pity me... I never had a good one but I will never knock my very first FF toy which was my Sephy keychain which I'm still very much proud of and love most of all my figures.

But let us take a moment to gaze upon this new one and his beauty, together...

Making Christmas (Part VII)... A Mountain of Pyos, A List, Thanks and a Middle Finger

It's always hard when Christmas Day is over.

Christmas seems to never want to come and then when it's here, it goes by so quickly that it's depressing. It always feels as though something else should have happened but never quite did.

This year, The HOchieS had the fortune of a Thursday Christmas and a Friday office closing but as soon as those presents were unwrapped Christmas day, I felt that my weekend was already done.

Sure enough, it's Sunday night now and I'm already dreading another work week, even though it's a short one. I already feel like next weekend's gone too and I'm looking forward to Martin Luther King Jr.'s Day.

Clearly I have problems.

This was not supposed to be a rant but really a thank you for the presents and the pyo list to keep track of.

As per Bunji's commentary (and his finger):

"It's 2008, and there's a recession but obviously NOT AT THIS HOUSE".

It was truly embarrassing but I stuck to a budget for the most part, as did H1. Well... maybe.

Making Christmas (Part VI)... Pastelles, Ham, The Christmas Village and H1's Most Hated Snow

A Trini Christmas would be incomplete without a few things - sorrel, punch de creme and pastelles.

Well, our Christmas is incomplete because Momma HOchie forgot to buy the sorrel to make us drinks and Papa HOchie has yet to make some punch de creme.

The pastelles on the other hand went down on Christmas Eve. Every year we try this and we forget what to do.
There's always some kind of struggle for banana leaves, struggle with the corn meal and then there's the issue of tying it all together so as to not have it fall apart when cooked.

So, they taste good like the always do but they've not been wrapped in leaves, they're kind of sticking to the paper and water managed to get in to some.

Make a note to self that next year I should not be tasked with tying.

Bunji cooked the ham this year and fancied it up by making a blackberry apple type sauce. it was quite the yummies and perhaps we'll task him to do it again next year.

Oooo, Christmas breakfast -

Papa HOchie is all about putting up the little Christmas Village at the corner of Mulberry St.

Over the years, we've collected lots of shops and some have gifted us with houses and/or people in the past. It was sad but we couldn't find black girl playing basketball that Beetchie gave to him one year but we did discover that there seems to have been some sort of animal explosion in the town with more dogs than people inhabiting the town. Could it be some sort of scary Christmas nightmare tale in the making...? And will this story be made into a B movie?

Eerie, isn't it? That dog that's as big as the car?

And the ghost train at the foot of the hill with the disco church sitting on top overlooking all? Yeah, definitely B movie material.

This year we had a white Christmas. It didn't snow on the day itself but we had left over snow from the storm that blew through on the 19th. H1 was most displeased but we did get to throw Boohead out into the snow, which was fun for him.

Another B Movie in the making with the scary sky:

And scary Mechanical Reindeer:

Here's what it looked like the day after:

That's so not what H1 wanted to see or walk over.

Currently listening to: "The Dam at Otter Creek" by Live. Ah, a song for a scary movie.
