Too Defined

I came across some pictures from the Jlist website of a Revoltech figure of Batman the other day.  This figure is set for release at some point this year.

To me, this particular figure is not very appealing.  The suit does not look good and almost seems too dull in colour, plain and downright ugly.  I am also confused by the golden gun/utility belt and I am fairly certain this is M. Keaton's Batman.

There's nothing wrong with M. Keaton's portrayal of Batman.  I would like to state right now that we should all agree that Kevin Conroy is the best Batman in the history of Batmen.

The thing that made me incredibly frightened by this figure was...

his ass.

His backside is um... not right.

And now that I have drawn your attention to his ass, let me traumatize you further by drawing attention to that bit hanging down in the middle.

Difficult

For the past few days, I've been staring up at my figures and have been captivated by one of my Sephiroth toys.

Other than my usual adoration, my eyes just kept being drawn to him for some reason.

I only figured out why two nights ago.

His hand was missing.

His good hand.

The one that usually holds the Masamune.

Psh, well stupid me for not realising it sooner.  Honestly, how do you not notice that the Masamune is gone?!

It's kinda hard to miss!

After a good 5 minutes of frantic searching, I found it hiding under Patrick Star.

Nerd ranting aside, I decided I'd take pictures of him because I don't know if I ever did.

Besides being obsessed with figures and stuff, I actually use the things to help draw stances and form sometimes and now, to take pictures of in an attempt to take better pictures.

Any minor improvement I may have seen in recent days went out the window.

I'm going to have to have a photo shoot with him again at some point but for now... let's just say the only 'decent' one I could take was when baby was in the corner.

and no one puts baby in the corner...

The Lucky Bag Contents: 2009/2010

I took a few pictures of some of the things I got in the J-List lucky bag. 

It should be noted that my luck is always not great when choosing these things, as many of you know.  Even though I was excited to see figures from series I actually watched and like, it still did not mean I got characters I like.

Things can always be worse, they say.

Who Loves Me?

Who wants to buy me the Ultimate Sephiroth pyo?

Or at least put in half, making my total $75 and you, whoever you may be, your total $75?

Or something? (Making my total $0 and you, whoever you may be, your total $150?)

If I get this, I will never buy/coerce or consider getting another Sephiroth figure again!

Really though, you guys should pity me... I never had a good one but I will never knock my very first FF toy which was my Sephy keychain which I'm still very much proud of and love most of all my figures.

But let us take a moment to gaze upon this new one and his beauty, together...

She came and she looks cute. Her hair looks very stylin', as do her boots and I'm liking her bass even though I think the colour could have been a little bit better.
She's grainy like Zarnyx but as we've discussed, that's how they're made.

Beetchie: no no. I know! You can carry an empty plate and I can be carrying the piece of bacon I just stole from you. hahaha
Or 2: ... and my "bitch, I go kill you" face? oh wait, how could I forget...I'd have to have my bag full of pins and my camera. oh and a changeable leg with a bruise on it.
Beetchie: a changeable leg? for wha?
Or 2: for everytime i trip
Beetchie: hahaha. I need a hoodie as well.
Or 2: that's right. I guess it could all go in my bag - the ipod, headphones, camera, psp, ds. My action figure is a h.a.m
Beetchie: haha. Your action figure is gonna need to come with a "house" set like barbie's dream house
Or 2: I'll be sure to make my hands carney. Yeah, you're gonna have to buy accessories separately, much like I had to. That shit ain't cheap. I may be but not my accessories
Beetchie: hahah. true true. I'd be the more popular figure, b/c I'm good to go right out of the package
Or 2: Yeah. You could probably get me and my accesories on amazon for cheaper. oh yeah, and i'd have to have an amazon credit card accessory. bwahahaha. Ah, i love my card.
