Hosting the Open Forum 3

Heeelllloooooooo, TAY! Welcome to Thorsday and the Open Forum.  Hello? Yes, this is Zarnyx and I will be your host today.  Thorsdays have always tossed mishaps at me for as long as I can remember.  So today I say: pox on you, Thorsday! We're going to do an ActiviTAY to make us forget that there's one day until sweet, merciful freedom.  That's right! We're going to parTAY like it's Friday.  I'm sorry.  I know Friday is still a thing that has to happen but letmejustconfuseyouwithabunchoftextthathasnothingtodowithanything.  And onwards to our game!

We said it before and we'll say it again.  At the recent launch party at Nintendo World for Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, a game of Mario & Luigi's Mushroom Kingdom Mad Lib was held and it was rigged.  The Top 5 Mad Lib entries were revealed and the team of Hannibal Chau Chow (fellow TAY'er UI 2.0) and Zarnyx did not win.  Maybe we are just bitter that our Mad Lib entry was not chosen (which seems more than likely) but man, I really wanted a Luigi key chain or plush as a prize! Not really but we were wronged, TAY! WRONGED!

Saturday Disappointment, Part I: Mario 3D Land in Times Square

What can you say about people?

They're the scum of the earth!

Alright, so not everyone can be classed as scum but this past Saturday morning proved to be quite trying when The HOchieS' ventured to Times Square to attend Nintendo's Super Mario 3D Land Event.

I shaved all but my Nintendo of America? How...crude.

Psh.

Nintendo announced their Elite Status Club Member Awards this week. For spending all my monies at Nintendo, I had the option of downloading the WiiWare mini game: Punch Out!!! with Little Mac's Trainer, Doc Luis as my opponent, sparring partner...Grasshopper Master to grasshopper, whatever.

Or, I could do the dishonourable thing and choose option two: a Life Size Plushie Mario Hat.

A friggin' Mario Hat.

I discovered earlier this week that the Japanese as per usual and their never-ending quest to screw me over and many of those stupid Americans living outside of Japan (ohohohoohoho), released in addition to the same lame ass Mario Hat, a GOLD Wii Mario Kart Wheel.

GOLD.

Sure I hate gold when Beyonce's ass is squeezed into tight gold dresses, but when you paint that shit on Nintendo products (wheels or ds Zelda bundles), I'm all about it.

Gold me up!

So hella lame number 1 incident was that I couldn't lay my hands on some gold wonder while destroying Mario CLee at some racing as Pimped Out Boo.

The second hella lame incident? I couldn't even secure my award this morning!

No Nintendo! Don't do me dirty TWICE in a span of 24 hours!

All is well now though. I ordered my Mario Hat and I will see it sometime before November 1st.

While I feel saddened and perhaps apologetic to Luigi that I played traitor by getting his brother's hat, I think it would make all involved feel much better to know that Mario's Hat will not be cherished in my room but rather, be cat scratched and sat upon by hairy friends - a well-deserved planting of cat asses for the ass that is Mario.

Thanks to Aims and Bughie J. for use of your coins.

Remember, the Nintendo Year began July 1st so let's keep giving them money so I can reap the benefits next year!

Bad Luck, Boo

Mario Party 8 is turning out to be my nemesis unlike my good friend Mario Party 5.

Out of 5 games, I lost 4.

I finally won tonight thanks to sheer skill, a tad bit more thinking, loan komodo-ery and some luck.

Heh.

Memorable Conversation of the evening:

A pot of 61 coins got split up between Yoshi and Boo but Boo was favoured and got 31 with Yoshi getting 30.

Chrissy Lee (Mario): Who got 31?
H1 (Yoshi): Boo
Or 2 (Boo): Heehee.
Chrissy Lee: That's discrimination! Boo only got that extra coin because he's white!!!!!
Or 2: Well, it's not easy being green.

College, Stupid Kids, Goombas and December 1st.

It's the beginning of the last month of the year. It's one of my favourite months. Work's slow ::knock on wood::, we don't really "do" much because the Christmas season comes around and there are thoughts of usually happy times, presents and the like.

Surprisingly, this has been a very eventful December 1st and we are none too pleased about a lot of it.

I sort of remember college... I remember that I was never a crammer or a procrastinator when it came to writing papers.

Papa Ho on the other hand, well! I am shocked! I'm only kidding. In Papa Ho's defense, he has a lot going on and did not get around to his research paper until last night at 8 PM after knowing he had to do it for months.

He stayed up until 2 AM this morning doing work like the slacker college kid that he is and I with him because I was typing out his handwritten work. This was followed by a 6 AM session of hurriedly trying to finish said paper for a 9 AM class. I can now say I've had a true college experience and I know why I never did it. However, being the brainiac Nerdle that Papa Ho is, he still managed to get an early good review on his paper.

This day also found The HOchieS at the mall for some Christmas perusing. I have returned very angry thanks to some no ambition little bitch of a girl who decided to lie about a lost twenty that did not belong to her. After her friend did the right thing and told me that I had dropped a twenty (which I strongly believe I had not), she yelled at him after he told her the story for 'being stupid' and came over to me to tell me she had in fact dropped the money. All this as if I had not seen what went down. She knew she was wrong and a liar and I made her feel like an ass when I smirked at her like she was the stupid fuck that she is and handed over the twenty.

She may think she got away with her dishonesty and that I'm the stupid ass that let that happen but I gave her the money knowing that when her 13 year old fucking ass goes off and gets knocked up or jailed for bigger things than a 20 dollar bill, she'll truly regret this day. That little bitch is headed for no where and that gives me satisfaction. In the meanwhile, I am very disgusted by rude, lack of ambitious people I've encountered in the past week. All you pushers, self-obsessed, unaware people walking around the street, on the the trains, in the back of an alley with your stolen $20 dollars of food, drugs, alcohol or whatever - you're going to get kicked, pushed back, screamed at and end up somewhere horrid one day.

Memorable Conversation of Yesterday:

Or 2: Did you see the Goomba I put on the blog for you, Beetchie?
Beetchie: Yes. You ass. You should leave those poor Goomba alone!
Or 2: What? They deserve it besides, I think they're having fun.
Beetchie: Would you have fun if you were kicked around?! You're so mean!
Or 2: Hey, I spin them around on their little heads THEN kick them along. Who wouldn't have fun?
Beetchie: It's so sad, you ass!
Or 2: Hmmm, I know. I guess...they're just happy and so cute walking along then the Italian (Mario) that I am like a Mafioso comes along and kicks them in the head, right?
Beetchie: Yeah! It's just like me. There I am walking along all cute in my neighbourhood then some Guido comes out of no where and attacks me.
