Addict

Yesterday as I was trying to use my download coupon good for the purchase of an album worth $5.00 on Amazon's sale, I discovered an area in my account where I could view my Media Library.

256 items.

There's no way I've bought 256 items off Amazon since 2005.

No.  Way.

Well...maybe?

This list might come in handy to help me take inventory of my CDs and games because I lost that list when I lost my old computer last year.

I feel slightly ill from this task and as I am doing it from memory right now, my list is looking kind of short.

Final Fantasy Tactics

Back in 1998, while I was still a young, inexperienced gamer , with Final Fantasy VII under my belt and a new found love of FF and RPGs, I decided to play FFT. One bomb and one chocobo later in a marsh, and it was game over. Daunted by my pitiful defeat having 'never played' a Tactical RPG before (Yeah, I failed at D&D: Pool of Radiance, too), I shamefully returned my rental and regretted that day since. With the PSN in full swing, FFT was looming for $9.99 and I, figuring 12 years and 3 recently played Tactical Rpgs conquered, I could take on the monster once more. Oh how wrong was I. One bomb and one chocobo later in a marsh, I'm still finding myself D-E-D. Ded!!!

Hitman Reborn

Again I stopped watching and collected. Still loving it! Even the filler was decent and that's rare. Now to stop watching again and wait another 3 months before picking it up again only to be sucked in.

Amazon

I've never been a fan of Black Friday. I have however, always been a fan of Online Shopping. Amazon combined the two to make me poor, I'm sure. I have put a ban on myself because I'm out of control. I missed some good deals and got great ones too but I will feel so sorry for myself when that credit card bill comes. Oh woe is me. Curse you, Amazon! You know I have obsessions!

Black Friday: Darker Than Hei

This year, some of the HOchieS and crew took part in insanity. I think we've done it only once before, at least in my memory. I think H1 may have done it more than that.

As usual, I did online buisness even though I was scheduled to take part in the 3:45 AM Madness this morning by trying to get a television, then again for the 6AM Madness with TD5 and Luiiiiissssss.

As mentioned, I did online buisness which entailed some stupidness and madness of my own.

I always think the world revolves around the East Coast and our time but failed to realise that Amazon's Black Friday Deal was supposed to be at 2 AM Pacific and not 2 AM Eastern. Well. Let us just say I went to bed near midnight, awoke at 2 AM, cursed Amazon when I saw no deals, then cursed again when I confirmed with Bughie J. that 2 AM Pacific meant 5 AM Eastern and then went to sleep and cursed again at 5:09 AM. I got 3 copies of an originally $40 then $25.99 dvd for $14.99. Sweetness? Yes.

So I missed the run to the unmentionable evil store with TD5 and Luuuiiisss but I heard it was a mob scene for an item that wasn't even great, then since Papa HOchie and I were doing more buisness at 6 AM, I missed the BJ's run (They're still out there so I'm not horrified to be going back to bed right now).

Black Friday seems to have found its way into everyone's routine this morning. Even my Ninjas were affected.

Look at that Black Friday Dragon Beast! I'd hide behind a Geisha too, honestly. I am not embarrassed by my clan.

Currently: falling asleep.

D. Gray-Man:

Okay, I'm beyond obsessed with this series now and retract my previous statement. It started off as nothing terribly great but interesting enough. However, now that all hell has been breaking loose, it is amazing. Did I mention I love my boy Allen Walker A LOT?

Allen Walker

He's so cute! And it's really unlike me to like the main character, who is good in any anime or videogame. Factors are that he's a white-haired boy but he's also a tad weird with his love of akuma. He also reminds me a bit of Zarnyx, at least in hair. And then there's his gambling problem... gotta love that too.

Tyki Mikk

Now that I'm almost caught up in the anime, I have found my truly most liked character. He's evil, got great hair, stylish, kinda funny, plenty crazy. He does try to eff up Allen but I'm okay with that.

Amazon

I don't care what anyone says! My wish list is awesomely long, not just long! My birthday and Christmas are coming up and I need to add to my list! You know, to keep track of things I want... He. ('He' is my new laugh that I picked up from Jasdevi in D. Gray-Man. Lame, I know.)

Shutterfly

Then there's that secret project being worked on that some know about and others not so much. Ooo, mysterious!

Conversations Kill

Or 2: You know, everytime I go on to frickin' Amazon (to check the status of my shipped item) and they tell me it's "in transit" for days from Jersey City in NJ, I suspect that somehow, Frass is the one holding back my order.

X: Everytime something happens in NJ, I think it's his fault.

Or 2: Yes well, I think we all know that's the case.

Cue the Final Fantasy Prelude and the Multiple Shop Music Themed Flashbacks We're About To Journey Into

"You know...I just used two Amazon gift certificates...I mean, I know they're there for my use but it hurts. Hahahaha (insert nervous, sad laughter), just like spending gil. JUST like spending gil." - Or 2.

"Hmm, and you never know. You might need to toss them at monsters in the last dungeon." - Bughie J.

::sigh::

I hate when I have to spend and/or toss my gil... that's some total bullshart if I ever did see it.

I should just be able to find whatever elixir I need lying around barely obscured by a box in the Ghost Trainyard, an Apocalypse I found in the area just beyond that asshole venus flytrap dealie that tricked me into giving it some poor defenseless frog as a meal, a scimitar I may have stolen off some fish in an Underwater Reactor, or an Oritsuru I found in the Da-Chao mountains on my way to busting up some Don from the Slums...

Yeah.

Those were the good times.

Good, inexpensive, gil saving times.

I never said anything about life saving times.

Just...gil saving.

The Happiest Places on Earth

Contrary to popular belief the Happiest Place on Earth is indeed Ebay and not Disney World.

At least, that was the case about 4 years ago. I've revised my list!

The happiest places are now (in addition to Ebay which has fallen on some hard times and down on my list) Amazon.com, YouTube, Wikipedia and Blogspot.
