S7: 24 HC 4 AM to 8 AM

Oops.
I may have forgotten that posts were due for this.

Due to the fact that the end of the season was so damned disappointing, here's a general head count with no real re-cap of dullness.

HC: 3; 1; 5; 10

That may be wrong but ask me if I care at this point. I might be off on one but I don't really remember.

The only three things I can really remember: the poor, cliched acting and lines given. Who wrote those last two episodes? Did I? When I was 7?

I did enjoy that Jack made peace with his life with the help of a Muslim holy man. It reminded me that the Fox Network are assholes and that this must have hurt them to air. Idiots.

Tony A. ... you were totally justified. When did you become Jack Bauer and when did Jack Bauer become a pansy?

I guess biolological weaponary running through your blood will do that to you.

S7: 24 HC - 3 AM to 4 AM

This episode was meh. Aims is not convinced that Tony A. is all bad. I might be of that camp as well but wow, did he just take out that dude with the shower lining and then took a shower with the body in there.

That was hardcore.

The President's daugther a murderer? Nice. I hate that biatch.

Also, I would just like to say that the screaming of President Palmer's name by Jack Bauer made me really confused at first, then not so much. That was some awesome acting by Keifer Jack Bauer Sutherland, but I wish he would stop toying with our emotions. It took us years to get over Palmer and we don't need your ass bringing it up again! ::sniff::

And Chloe? Is still hella great. Screw you, MC.

Head Count: 4. That bad acting 'attorney' was confirmed.

S7: 24 HC - 2 AM to 3 AM

2 AM to 3 AM:

How poor of an actress was that woman who played the real lawyer of Jon Voight's? When those people were at the door and she looked like a deer in the headlights, I'm not sure about the crew but I'd say she's a comedian because I sure as hell laughed my ass off.

Seriously, who is this biatch that threatened Jon Voight's family?! Who do you think you are that you could threaten Brangelina? I would threaten Maddox if I were you. That kid looks like he could kick some ass.

Kim Bauer continues to reign stupid. She apparently now has a daughter she named Terri. Why would you ask for a Nina in the future to kill future Teri Bauer? That's just asking for a whole new series of heartache!

I'm sure that Tony A. hates when Jack Bauer plays McGuyver, and that's why he used the "you're paranoid, Jack" card on him. Nice.

The Starkwood/Tony A. Operative covering himself with someone else's blood to get out of the building? Nice, too.

Finally, a flashback from last week - did anyone else notice that rigor mortis set in immediately for Larry Moss? I'm pretty sure not even ten minutes had gone by after Tony A. suffocated his ass. The show is timed in real-time afterall.

Head Count: 3.

S7: 24 HC - 12 AM to 2 AM

12 AM to 1 AM:

Hodges is scary. When Jon Voight acts a psychopath, he really isn't 'acting'. That family is full of crazies! Yep, I'm looking at you Angelina.

That scene when he tossed down that poor Chairman was possibly the scariest thing on TV since the last time Ryan the ass Seacrest was on TV, which would mean since last Wednesday.

And then when that poor Chairman fell unto the blown up map of the World, I laughed. But then I felt really sorry for him again because he landed under the asshole of America - New Jersey. That's what it was, right B.? That'd make sense since NJ certainly does smell like ass.

Head Count: 2.

1 AM to 2 AM:

Kim Bauer wasted my life four about 3 minutes with her face that turned horsey animal variant. She always wastes my life but the nerve of her to waste it with her extra hideousness was just wrong.

So I will admit, that earlier on during the episode when Tony A. was doing a solo op. I questioned whether or not he was going to do it. Out loud I said and to myself so there's no one to verify my cleverness - "is Tony A. going to go traitor on them?"

And this was even before he pulled that guy out from under the base where he had set up the explosive devices - which by the way, I found very strange of him to do. Tony A.? A compassionate man? Hardly.

I'm not surprised by his actions because I never fully believed he was really good even though that's still questionable (sure he killed that ass Larry Moss - and hooray for that! Yay!) but I guess he's got some kind of conscience after all or...doing something...good?

I'm just more concerned that his ass is going to die. I don't want him to die again.

Head Count: 3. That was wrong how that guy head shot the FBI agent though.

S7 - 24 HC: 11 PM to 12 AM

So this is how Jack Bauer's life ends? The biological contaminants in his blood that will lay dormant for the rest of Season 7 and most of Season 8, triggers at the end of Season 8. Sad. I just hope he doesn't make a stupid face like Edgar did.

That person who tricked Tony A. into thinking he was helping him, reminds me of a crazy ass that I hope to never see again. I can't wait until Tony A. destroys him and I don't have to have flashbacks of creepiness anymore.

Head Count: 1. Psyche, Tony A.! It's actually 0. Don't worry, you'll get your chance soon. I hope... it'd really suck if they killed Tony A. off. Again.

S7 24 HC: 10 PM - 11 PM

Tony A., Man of Reason. I never thought he'd have to tell Jack to kill terrorists instead of saving a peon, but that day has come.

And for Jack's stupidity? He gets exposed to a biological agent.

That is what happens when you think about peons!

Hodges' one liners are becoming annoying.

Head Count: 3

S7: 24 HC 5 PM - 6 PM

5 PM - 6 PM:

Awww. The chicken head died! It was exactly what Frass didn't want to see. I felt sorry for the chicken head but at least she took down a terrorist in the process. Well, the terrorist might still be alive but not after Jack had him cut open to retrieve a disk. That's right, Jack Bauer is still awesome.

So, is it just me or could the casting have easily had Hillinger and that guy who works for Senator Major (a name that confuses me but like in a weird way - is that really what he's called?) be switched in roles and no one would be able to tell? They look alike! I mean, Sean is uglier though.

Side profiles of some of the cast members - terrible. Everyone was sporting a flat face and it was scaring me.

Thank goodness I no longer have to look at that ugly, can't-even-compare-her-to-an-ugly-animal animal who Hillinger was with, anymore.

Okay, the stairs at the Mall, overlooking the monument and the reflecting pool are never that empty. In fact, there was no body hanging out. I know the place was probably on lock down because of a terrorist attack but really, NO BODY? Yeah right. People seriously needed to be there to distract from the shady Tony A. and Jack Bauer moment that went down. If I saw that shade sitting on some stairs some where, with a perfectly digitally enhanced sunset, I'd be thinking "terrorist activity" or maybe..."commercial shoot"?

Finally... you can take the girl out of the soap opera but you can't take the soap opera out of the girl. That Renee Walker performance was daytime-ish. Wonder if she'll win a day time emmy for her role in a prime time show.

She has some nerve slapping Jack Bauer...twice!

Head Count: 3

S7: 24 HC 8 AM - 12 PM

It's that time of year again.

I'm actually a week late but there are no worries due to the powers of DVR.

8 AM - 9 AM:

Jack Bauer is still awesome - he can still bust ass and tell people to stop their smuggery.

Tony Almeida - being 'ded' made him put on weight. He's not looking so goo' looking as he did before.

I hate this Sean Hillinger ass, and Jeanne Garafolo (or whoever that's spelt and call me lazy for not looking it up right now) is no Chloe O'Brien! I can't wait for that meeting to go down in the hopes for another taser-filled fun fest.

Head Count: 200,000 and going, plus a dead president's son. This was all from the last incident in November to January. 1 in the actual hour.

9 AM to 10 AM:

It's good to see Methos. I could have sworn he was in this before, but I guess not. I'm half expecting him to whip out a sword and behead Almeida.

It's also good to see that 6 days of previous nonsense finally let Jack wise up - there's always a mole digging around! CTU, FBI, the gov't... moles get around!

Head Count: 2.

10 AM to 11 AM:

I'm hating this President Taylor. They've written her two lines the entire season thus far and it's annoying. I don't understand why she's so willing to risk American lives by sticking her nose in another country's business...oh. Wait. Nevermind.

Chloe is still awesome. Her introduction is as per usual, kick ass.

Bill's hair.. is much whiter than it used to be. Where's his wife? And Bill is still awesome.

Memorable Conversation of the episode

Jack: Hi Chloe. It's good to hear you again.
Chloe: It's good to hear you too Jack. I saw you on CSPAN and I can't believe what that Senator told you... but at least you look good.

Head Count: 0

11 AM to 12 PM:

I don't know why it comes as a surprise to anyone that the only members of CTU are Chloe and Bill. With Jack around, that's all that ever truly ran CTU, so nothing has changed. Oh Jack, I thought you learned much from the previous 6 days.

H1's right, Tony A. went crazy because of the death of Michelle Dessler but like Jack, couldn't kill innocent Americans. Ummm.. okay. That's flawed logic since his weapons dealings probably killed innocent Americans and then some but whatever. Tony's always been kind of special that way.

This whole female Jack Bauer FBI agent has a lot to learn. She's not nearly as hardcore.

Head Count: 3.

And So...

"Tony's uncertain fate near the end of Day 5 left the door open for his
return," executive producer Howard Gordon said in a press release. "And
since there was no silent clock at the conclusion of his last appearance
-- the '24' tribute to a major character's demise -- we always kept this
as a possibility."

...Fox proves its asshattery time and time again.

Lies! All of it! They didn't plan this out!

This is what we call, 'trying to save our asses after a debacle of a season'.

Still, we'll get to test my theory that 24 sucked last season because there was no Tony A.

They're Killing Me Here! And everyone else. S5: 3 PM to 11 PM - The 24 HC

3 PM to 4 PM:

Round 1: a Hobbit Vs. Jack Bauer. Let's weigh this here. I'm putting my money on the Hobbit!

Oh Vampires and their Sentox gas. I've seen THAT story a million times.

Jack, way to leave the black man on the side of the street.

Round 2: President Logan Vs. Moscow. Let's weigh this situation: the assassination of the Russian President on U.S. soil would lead to some reaaaallly pissed off Russians. I'm undecided.

I wonder if Matt watches this show... his ass is all about conspiracy theories. He probably loves this damned thing. Matt: Jack Bauer's Bitch. Or 2: Matt's Bitch. Powerful Logic - Or 2: Jack Bauer's Bitch.

Head Count: 6. Forever Knight is Forever (un)Dead.

4 PM to 5 PM:

Omicron Persei 8? It looked a lot different the last time I saw it. It didn't look so...building-ish or nice looking. Where are the Popplers?

Yeah Jack, how COULD you be so stupid? But being under the floor works out like good times!

Headcount: 6.

5 PM to 6 PM:

Tony A.! I forgot all about your ass already. You are already DTU.

Okay, so before my array of photos gets stuck in here, please notice the wonderful lamp reflection that goes along with all. That lamp needs to be added to the head count. But here we have the story of "Jack Bauer, Miriam & Her Leg and the Lamp":

Headcount: 3 + the plant that Jack kicked. We need to send a medic for not only Miriam but the plant too! Send a medic for the plant! Ahahahahaha, Lynn's drugged-up sister and her drugged-up boyfriend are DTL.L.

6 PM to 7 PM:

Ugh, how many times do I have to add that blasted Kim to the Head Count?

So...am I to believe that a cripple left Kim? A one-armed guy who had nothing going for him, left her? I never realized Chase was so smart before... Chase is my new hero.

Stupid line of the episode and it comes from Kim, of course: Don't judge him (in reference to Barry). It's okay for Barry to judge Jack but Jack can't judge? That's right, you secretly add Barry to the Head Count in the story of "Jack Bauer Gives Barry The Look of Death and The Lamp":

Who Jack would like to see dead in the near future: Barry.

I see what they're doing here. They've been trying to ween us off Tony A. all season so that when he got killed, we wouldn't notice the non-silent clock because they thought we wouldn't care! Well, I have to say it's working so far. I'll see how I feel once he goes.

Head Count: 9 including Carrie - the shortest lived anaylst on this show. Plus, poor...dead...Edgar. But you're right, HOchie 1 that was mostly funny due to Chloe's face.

I present to you, a photo post of this Head Count and the Story of "Chloe, Edgar, Sentox Nerve Gas and The Lamp" -

7 PM to 8 PM:

Jack Bauer is holding his breath. This is hilarious.

You know all those little CTU guards? Yeah, the ones running around in red? They're like the unknown people on the Away Missions who always die in Star Trek. But awww, they gave one of them a name - that's right, send Harry Swinton off to die. Good job, Harry. You will remain a hero in 24 history - first for yelling at the Hobbit with the classic line such as "So everyone is dead in CTU because you were embarrassed?" and then for being sent off to your death to save Jack Bauer's life.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA, this "Hobbit Save C.T.U" Music is killing me! One ring to unite them all! Awwwww.

Head count: 3 (and about 55 dead in total in CTU). But, but...Tony A. whhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy...Why are you last words pansy-ish? "She's gone, Jack"? WTF. But here's the story of "Jack Bauer and His Dead BFF Yet The Tears Still Won't Come and The Lamp":

8 PM to 9 PM:

This Collette person is one scary beast.

Who I'd like to see dead in the near future: Karen Hayes, from HomeS.

Ahahaha, Jack's hiding in the back of the car again. I remember that from season 1 and just how hilarious that was. It's still hilarious.

Head Count: 0.

9 PM to 10 PM:

HOchie 1: I like this whole Audrey interrogation thing.

Audrey Cry Count: 2 Scenes.

Worst line of the season and it came from none other than Audrey: Because he wasn't you, Jack!
Apparently she's the queen of lame lines: the only thing that got me through this was that I knew you would come, Jack.

Rick Burke's getting lots of screen time this season; he's also getting a lot of talk time. I thought Rick was the silent interrogator?

Head Count: 11.

10 PM to 11 PM:

Head Count: 7. Uh, there's a bit of a disclaimer...apparently I forgot to blog about this episode as it was going on. WTF, I don't know what happened either but I did a rough count of who got killed off as Jack & Wayne took out all those people, then J.B. played sniper.

5 AM to 10 AM S 3 The 24 H C

5 AM to 6 AM:

"It was you! You killed Danny!" Listen Stupid, Michelle had to do what she needed to do because your husband was being an ass!

"It's the pre-series villain." - Mitch *Connors*
"CTU is the worst federal agency ever. We need to stop spending money funding them. Didn't we also think Victor Dresen was dead too but he wasn't? Why is it hard to believe that Steven Saunders also died?" - HOchie 1.

Don't worry, Michelle. No virus can kill your ass. Only car bombs can do that.
"That's kind of sad. I kind of like her now. She chose her job over Tony A. Not only that but she tried to sell him up the river. That's what happens when you marry one of Jack Bauer's bitches." - HOchie 1.

I love how those federal agents at CTU are always flashing their identifications but what does it matter? No one knows that the hell CTU is.

Did anyone else see that woman, Diana White who "worked" with Steven Saudners put some pants on when she was getting dressed? We sure didn't, she went to MI6 with a bare bottom!

MI6 - another crap agency. Like CTU, it's easy for them to be infiltrated.
And what the fudge is MI6? What about MI5?

Michelle is part Japanese so she has no trouble pushing suicide. Those Japanese hate Christianity. Every soul should burn in hell! Damned Michelle. Keep your seppuku to yourself!

Head Count: 6. ::sniff:: Gael. The entire MI6 office was taken out. I only counted 5... it's a small agency, I guess.

6 AM to 7 AM:

No, Tony A. You shouldn't be there with Michelle because you're not hardcore enough to survive a virus.

Ryan Chappelle - Japanese?:

When is the asshat Chase going to die? Talking out of line like that. Stupid Chase.

Oooo, Daniel Dai Kim is back. He has lived too long in this show. Today's the day to add him to the headcount.

Head Count: 9. R.I.P. Chappelle, even if you were CTU's resident assbackside for the past 3 seasons.

7 AM to 8 AM:

More reasons to love Tony A.: he tried to get Kim killed off in the field by strongly suggesting she be a decoy in a dangerous operation, a job Kim took but of course, that bitch just won't die.
Good try though, Tony A. Good try.

Head Count: 2.

8 AM to 9 AM:

It's all well and good that Michelle was not infected by the virus but what about the poor black man who found out that his results were positive?

Head Count: 2. this including The poor black man who unlike Michelle, will not make it until the end of this day.
