S8: 24 HC 12 AM to 1 AM

12 AM to 1 AM:

I missed the entire bit where Anil's brother ended up with these new people. What happened to the Russian traitor? Is he ded? I only counted 2 for the HC and I think I might be wrong.

Frass or MC, please fill me in.
I did laugh when Quasimodo asked Jack if he was "in" and Jack did a symbolic moving of his messenger bag strap over his shoulder. That showed that in all the running he would do in the future, that thing won't move unless moved by Jack. That, my friends, is how you know he's serious.

You know I had to go look up Freddie Prinze Jr. to see if he was born and raised Crooklyn, right? I knew it wasn't true because that was one bad tough guy accent.

Head Count: 2. Is Kevin really ded? Not sure but he sure should be.

S8: 24 HC 9 PM to 11 PM

9 PM to 10 PM:

I am still not seeing the point of the side story with the blonde and the ex-con other than a worthless distraction.

All other story elements have gotten slightly better and even though he was already dying, when that father shot the son poisoned with weapons grade uranium poisoning, it just taught you not to eff with Russians as if we needed another reason.

Head Count: 7

10 PM to 11 PM:

Okay, when Jack was on the ground in pain from the stabbing then quickly pulled the knife out and threw it straight to the enemy's vital point in the middle of the neck, I may have laughed out loud.

The angle was off as far as I could tell and there's no way he would have gotten it like that but heck, it was funny enough that J.B. was two seconds before writhing in pain and then reacted as he did.

Jack Bauer needs not heed no stinking gravity!

By the way, when will Renee do a stabbing on Hastings? He might be deserving one.

S8: 24 HC - 8 PM to 9 PM

Meh.

I can't say I was really paying attention since I was playing Final Fantasy Tactics or rather, there was not much to pay attention to.

I don't understand why they would let me sit through almost an entire hour listening to thumbless rant before offin' him.

I also don't understand why they're trying to give people hearts or stupid side story to characters I don't care about.  I never get why these idiots just do not go to authorities when black mailed.

S8: 24 HC - 4 PM to 6 PM

I was debating whether or not to blog but since it may very well be Jack Bauer's last, here we go!

4 PM to 5 PM:

Not even 2 minutes in and 2 people are dead.  Not to mention the one guy who looks like a weird version of Keanu Reeves is kind of scaring me.

What the eff's with the disrepect?! Jack?! Who the hell do you think you are grandchild!! And stop being so blonde and needy like your mother! If I were you, I'd watch whatever Jack Bauer tells you to watch.

Woah, that evil eye little demon bauer grandchild gave makes her the next Bauer for sure!!!!

Lame, President Taylor is so lame.  Do you really think you can handle Anil Kapoor?! And you Farrad, shut up! You can't handle President Hassan either even if he is your brother!

Hmm, is it just me or did that car seat Grandchild Bauer got put in not look like the safest?

Um.  What? What kind of plot device is this...this blonde and Anil Kapoor?

Aaaaannndddd...the torture begins on the part of Jack.  Ha.  Wait, he didn't really do anything because he's retired.  Smart move, Bauer.  Smart move.

Yay! Chloe!!!!!!!! The evil eye to the ugly blonde! Yay! Times are good when Chloe's around.  Um...wait, who is this bitch to be talking to Chloe like that?! Can't wait for Chloe to taser her.

Not liking this Hastings at all...can't wait for Jack to torture him but not before Chloe tasers his ass.  I miss Bill! ::sniff:: Bill...

Okay, things just got seriously scary...I think that's Eugene from X-Files who just blew up that helicopter.

Head Count: 8, plus one pad lock.  That Jack Bauer's got the best shot but poor, poor pad lock.

5 PM to 6 PM:

Ah, the messenger bag returns.  I don't remember seeing it when he left but poof, here it is.  It's like magic, that thing.

Really hating this Brian Hastings, new director of CTU.  When is he going down?

Okay, am I really to believe that Jack is going to be sucked back into this mess by Chloe? Wait, no.  He's a cold bitch who left Chloe hanging even though she is awesome.  Stupid Bauer.  But no, he'll do it for Kim? Psh.  I find this very hard to believe.  And he listens to her! It's almost as if she wants him to die...but at least she knows if he doesn't, he'll be done in a day.

F-- to Grandchild Bauer's drawings.  Why does she see her family as onions?

I love it how Jack black mails someone then thanks them for their 'help'.

S7: 24 HC 4 AM to 8 AM

Oops.
I may have forgotten that posts were due for this.

Due to the fact that the end of the season was so damned disappointing, here's a general head count with no real re-cap of dullness.

HC: 3; 1; 5; 10

That may be wrong but ask me if I care at this point. I might be off on one but I don't really remember.

The only three things I can really remember: the poor, cliched acting and lines given. Who wrote those last two episodes? Did I? When I was 7?

I did enjoy that Jack made peace with his life with the help of a Muslim holy man. It reminded me that the Fox Network are assholes and that this must have hurt them to air. Idiots.

Tony A. ... you were totally justified. When did you become Jack Bauer and when did Jack Bauer become a pansy?

I guess biolological weaponary running through your blood will do that to you.

S7: 24 HC - 3 AM to 4 AM

This episode was meh. Aims is not convinced that Tony A. is all bad. I might be of that camp as well but wow, did he just take out that dude with the shower lining and then took a shower with the body in there.

That was hardcore.

The President's daugther a murderer? Nice. I hate that biatch.

Also, I would just like to say that the screaming of President Palmer's name by Jack Bauer made me really confused at first, then not so much. That was some awesome acting by Keifer Jack Bauer Sutherland, but I wish he would stop toying with our emotions. It took us years to get over Palmer and we don't need your ass bringing it up again! ::sniff::

And Chloe? Is still hella great. Screw you, MC.

Head Count: 4. That bad acting 'attorney' was confirmed.

S7: 24 HC - 2 AM to 3 AM

2 AM to 3 AM:

How poor of an actress was that woman who played the real lawyer of Jon Voight's? When those people were at the door and she looked like a deer in the headlights, I'm not sure about the crew but I'd say she's a comedian because I sure as hell laughed my ass off.

Seriously, who is this biatch that threatened Jon Voight's family?! Who do you think you are that you could threaten Brangelina? I would threaten Maddox if I were you. That kid looks like he could kick some ass.

Kim Bauer continues to reign stupid. She apparently now has a daughter she named Terri. Why would you ask for a Nina in the future to kill future Teri Bauer? That's just asking for a whole new series of heartache!

I'm sure that Tony A. hates when Jack Bauer plays McGuyver, and that's why he used the "you're paranoid, Jack" card on him. Nice.

The Starkwood/Tony A. Operative covering himself with someone else's blood to get out of the building? Nice, too.

Finally, a flashback from last week - did anyone else notice that rigor mortis set in immediately for Larry Moss? I'm pretty sure not even ten minutes had gone by after Tony A. suffocated his ass. The show is timed in real-time afterall.

Head Count: 3.

S7: 24 HC - 12 AM to 2 AM

12 AM to 1 AM:

Hodges is scary. When Jon Voight acts a psychopath, he really isn't 'acting'. That family is full of crazies! Yep, I'm looking at you Angelina.

That scene when he tossed down that poor Chairman was possibly the scariest thing on TV since the last time Ryan the ass Seacrest was on TV, which would mean since last Wednesday.

And then when that poor Chairman fell unto the blown up map of the World, I laughed. But then I felt really sorry for him again because he landed under the asshole of America - New Jersey. That's what it was, right B.? That'd make sense since NJ certainly does smell like ass.

Head Count: 2.

1 AM to 2 AM:

Kim Bauer wasted my life four about 3 minutes with her face that turned horsey animal variant. She always wastes my life but the nerve of her to waste it with her extra hideousness was just wrong.

So I will admit, that earlier on during the episode when Tony A. was doing a solo op. I questioned whether or not he was going to do it. Out loud I said and to myself so there's no one to verify my cleverness - "is Tony A. going to go traitor on them?"

And this was even before he pulled that guy out from under the base where he had set up the explosive devices - which by the way, I found very strange of him to do. Tony A.? A compassionate man? Hardly.

I'm not surprised by his actions because I never fully believed he was really good even though that's still questionable (sure he killed that ass Larry Moss - and hooray for that! Yay!) but I guess he's got some kind of conscience after all or...doing something...good?

I'm just more concerned that his ass is going to die. I don't want him to die again.

Head Count: 3. That was wrong how that guy head shot the FBI agent though.

S7 - 24 HC: 11 PM to 12 AM

So this is how Jack Bauer's life ends? The biological contaminants in his blood that will lay dormant for the rest of Season 7 and most of Season 8, triggers at the end of Season 8. Sad. I just hope he doesn't make a stupid face like Edgar did.

That person who tricked Tony A. into thinking he was helping him, reminds me of a crazy ass that I hope to never see again. I can't wait until Tony A. destroys him and I don't have to have flashbacks of creepiness anymore.

Head Count: 1. Psyche, Tony A.! It's actually 0. Don't worry, you'll get your chance soon. I hope... it'd really suck if they killed Tony A. off. Again.

Make Sure Prescott Gets His Babu! S7 24 HC: 9 PM - 10 PM

There's not much to say other than Jack Bauer can't get a break.

Just when you think he's about to get an easy time at his sentencing by making nice with Red Foreman, that gets shot out the window or...in the foyer.

Morris is still awesome.

The only other thind I'd like to ask is... does anyone else think that Quinn looks like Chef Gordon Ramsey? No wonder he was so badassed!

Operation: Kill Bill. S7: 24 HC 8 PM to 9 PM

H1 made me title it.

I don't care what else happens in this damned episode or this show for that matter...

Bill's dead!

What's the point in watching this shart anymore?!

='(

::sniff:: Bill...

S7: 24 HC 6 PM - 8 PM

6 PM to 7 PM:

Choking out Bill is the coolest thing Jack Bauer's ever done.

Don't you worry, Chloe. You'll get to buss ass soon. Though I see Jack took your taser bit this season. You tase better.

Memorable line of the evening:

"You are weak! I am willing and able to look evil in the eye and deal with it." - Jack Bauer to Senator Mayor. I still don't know who he thinks he's talking to but you shouldn't mess with Red Foreman.

Head Count: 1

7 Pm to 8 PM:

I would just like to say that the White House ain't what it used to be. Honestly, that break in was fantastically simple. And then they're trying to give me some bullshart about how the White House is the most shielded building in the world, which explains why you could only see a 'clump' indicating people from the aerial shot.

Clearly the White House is the most shielded building in the world...except when it comes to terrorists.

I guess in its defense, I'd crumble too if I saw Candyman coming my direction. He is one scary, bad ass mf.

Agent Hovis is a tool. Sure his best decision was to pull back but he's still a tool.

I noticed too that someone by the name of Hodges gave detail on an operation. If they watch CSI, they'll know that guy's an ass and you shouldn't really believe anything he says.

Also, do Sengalans really give 'thumbs up' to indicate something's okay? When did a 'thumbs up' become a universal sign for okay?

I thumbs up'd a death metal-head, member of The Haunted once after he signed a poster for me... and by reaction he thumbs up'd me back. He was so embarrassed when he realised what he was doing. It was probably his most un-metal moment in his life.

I have no regrets.

Head Count: 20.

S7: 24 HC 5 PM - 6 PM

5 PM - 6 PM:

Awww. The chicken head died! It was exactly what Frass didn't want to see. I felt sorry for the chicken head but at least she took down a terrorist in the process. Well, the terrorist might still be alive but not after Jack had him cut open to retrieve a disk. That's right, Jack Bauer is still awesome.

So, is it just me or could the casting have easily had Hillinger and that guy who works for Senator Major (a name that confuses me but like in a weird way - is that really what he's called?) be switched in roles and no one would be able to tell? They look alike! I mean, Sean is uglier though.

Side profiles of some of the cast members - terrible. Everyone was sporting a flat face and it was scaring me.

Thank goodness I no longer have to look at that ugly, can't-even-compare-her-to-an-ugly-animal animal who Hillinger was with, anymore.

Okay, the stairs at the Mall, overlooking the monument and the reflecting pool are never that empty. In fact, there was no body hanging out. I know the place was probably on lock down because of a terrorist attack but really, NO BODY? Yeah right. People seriously needed to be there to distract from the shady Tony A. and Jack Bauer moment that went down. If I saw that shade sitting on some stairs some where, with a perfectly digitally enhanced sunset, I'd be thinking "terrorist activity" or maybe..."commercial shoot"?

Finally... you can take the girl out of the soap opera but you can't take the soap opera out of the girl. That Renee Walker performance was daytime-ish. Wonder if she'll win a day time emmy for her role in a prime time show.

She has some nerve slapping Jack Bauer...twice!

S7: 24 HC 4 PM to 5 PM

I don't wish to be failed again, so let me write something down here.

Let's see, I'm trying very hard to remember what went down but um, nothing's really coming to me...

Oh yeah, didn't I always hate that smug asshole Hillinger? Yeah. I sure did and continue to do so.

Also, I really dislike Larry Moss... the most recent epiphany that The HOchieS have had is that animals and people with eyes close together (and having beady eyes doesn't help either), are usually assholes... not only are they ugly but they're assholes and scary as well. Larry's got those and that is the point of this conversation.

As I was watching the whole gf situation Debaku's got going on with the waitress, I could not help but think of H1 who would immediately point out that this is a classic 24 scenario - the one about a woman scorned. It's happened before more than once and seems like it's on the path to happening again. I fear that girl's going to end up on the HC next week though.

There, Frass, are you happy now? You made me rant about nothing because the episode was about nothing.

Thanks.

S7: 24 HC - 2 PM to 3 PM

I'm caught up for tonight's episode.

There's not much for me to say other than that little plant manager didn't deserve what happened to him! That was sad. He should have gotten a silent clock, not that other terrible waste usage it got on Renee.

When will the day come that Jack Bauer can slap that Sean Hillinger guy.

Head Count: 13.

Currently listening to: "Lucid Dreams" by Franz Ferdinand. I've been so slacking that I 'knew' their album Tonight was out but forgot until Beetchie reminded me by saying she liked it. Yeesh. I'm listening to it now and it's very FF like but a very specific type of FF like. So far, it's not as clever as say their classic tracks as "Dark as the Matinee". I'm sure I just need to listen more closely and in full.

Being a Slacker - S7 24 HC : 1 PM to 2 PM

1 PM to 2 PM:

Well that was a gross misuse of the Silent Clock if I ever did not hear one. That damned Renee is alive! Ugh. What a waste of time. I feel sullied and unusual by that clock.

And as much as I disliked that girl who was girlfriend to the President's son, being stabbed in the back was just harsh.

I'm still disliking the President and her now 3 lines versus the only 2 she had before.

Methos is gone and that is just wrong. Methos is immortal though, so he'll be back - nevermind it seemed that Jack Bauer shot him in the neck and he brilliantly told T.A. "You want forgiveness from me? Go to Hell and live with what you've done." Ah, those are some awesome 'last' words.

Head Count: 277, with unconfirmed deaths on the ground.

2 PM to 3 PM:

This is how I'm a slacker - I forgot to watch Monday's episode. Some ::cough H1 cough:: may say that is because I am now a Texter, but those people ::cough H1 cough:: would be keed. I'd appreciate that some ::cough H1 cough:: would stop pretending to be me and texting everyone and saying I'm a Texter.

The reason I forgot to watch Monday's episode?

I was texting Setzer.

Heh.

S7: 24 HC - 12 PM to 1 PM

SPOILER ALERT!

A silent clock?

I don't think that was necessary for the character - I was no where near attached to her!

She sucked, that Renee Walker.

Since it's been unconfirmed though...

What? New 24?!

Much to the dismay of many (Beetchie already 'instinctively' called at 8 PM to disturb me), 24 is back! In mini TV event, anyway. The 24 HC is on!

TD5's with me too right now, so this it's even better times.

3 AM to 5 AM:

They're in Africa, and there was talk of people being cockroaches. It's funny how things are. Just today I heard that cockroach Akon on the radio.

Ah, there's Jack Bauer, who even though is doing humanity work in Africa, he still knows how to break a hand if need be.

As TD5 and I noticed, it's always good to see goats and chickens playing football.

Powers Boothe still scares the crap out of me.

Memorable Quotes of the Episode:

Jack: Save that helmet for a parade!

TD5: He has two guns...
Or 2: Please, there's a dozen or so! He can take them out barehanded!
TD5: All he needs is a straw!

::as Jack walks into the jungle::
TD5: Go Predator on their asses! See? He jumped down from the trees!
::as Jack is knocked out in one punch::
Or 2: One punch and Jack is down.
TD5: That's improbable.

TD5: I like his character, don't kill him yet. Did he get an "...and Robert Carlisle, or just Robert Carlisle? Because that is a determining factor."
Or 2: I think he got "Robert Carlisle".
TD5: Okay good, he might make it to another episode.
Or 2: Yeah. He'll make it to 4 AM.

Or 2: Jack's been tortured by the Chinese and made it, am I (he) supposed to be scared by these people?

Or 2: I'm happy to see the little messenger bag made it to Africa.
TD5: Yes. It did. It must have been hand luggage.

Or 2: Oooooohhh.
TD5: Oohh. Candyman!

Head Count: 27.
